Behind the project

Street basketball operates on its own unique frequency—it is entirely about rhythm, aggression, and relentless, explosive momentum. To translate that authentic courtside intensity into a digital format, our production crew hit the concrete in Novi Sad with a singular mission: to create an aftermovie for Ultra Energy that feels exactly as fast, physical, and hard-hitting as a professional 3x3 matchup.

Working in the center of a heavily packed urban tournament requires a highly mobile, incredibly reactive production approach. Stagnant camera placements simply do not work for streetball. Instead, our operators stayed in constant, fluid motion alongside the athletes, weaving through the roaring crowds and tracking the players’ explosive lateral movements. By anticipating every dramatic buzzer-beater and heavily contested shot, we secured dynamic footage that puts the viewer right on the court. We heavily utilized low-angle perspectives to emphasize the sheer verticality of the players, paired with tight, gritty close-ups that highlighted the sweat, frustration, and raw emotion driving the competition.

In the post-production suite, we elevated these kinetic visuals by layering them with heavy-hitting sound design, rapid-fire cuts, and seamless beat-matched transitions. The objective was to avoid creating a standard, chronological event recap. Instead, we forged a pure, concentrated injection of street culture and brand hype, ultimately cementing Ultra Energy as the definitive fuel behind the most intense basketball battles in the city.
